Who we are or shall I say the harvest of our life's experience is often the result of our thinking process...
Our thinking will impact our choices, what we allow, what we accept, what we pursue and so on... Our faith and our fears are the result of our thinking... To one man a situation may be a challenge (stumbling block) and to another the same situation my be an opportunity (stepping stone)... Yep, its a matter of your preception... And where does your preception originate from - your thinking...

DREAM

I Saw for the First Time

I was with a group that had done some bad things… It was in an old western setting. The group had taken something. We had gotten away and had made our way to the railroad and boarded a train to victory. Even though everyone was celebrating I felt like the train was going to be of final spot of exposure. We were in the lodging area with a lot of other passengers. Everyone had gotten up to get ready for breakfast. I separated myself from the group. As we were riding I saw a group of men like a posse riding alongside the train. Everyone though we were about to be robbed but I knew they were coming to kill the group. We were all in various area of the train seated with our heads down. You could hear the commotion as the men were searching and killing the guys’ one by one… Out of the corner of my eyes I saw them from point blank range identify one of the men and shoot him dead on the spot. I new my time was just a matter of second; however, I was hoping I would be spared because I never really participated in the acts but I was with the group.

When one of the rider pulled me up from my seat and threw me on the ground. I was hoping that it would be a quick death. He then said the strangest thing. He said you will not see again. I then realize my punishment was due to me having had relationship with his daughter. It didn’t appear to be sexual but just one that was forbidden. He summoned for a rag soaked with gasoline. He said you will never see again. I tried to pray but he said no you will not pray you are going to reap this punishment. He moved my hands from a praying position and then I put them over my eyes but I knew the gas would eventually get in my eyes. The man was sitting on top of me and began squeezing the rag. When the gasoline touching my eyes; instead of burning I began to SEE as never before… everything was crystal clear… the gas that was running over my eyes was like sparkling blue water… a very bright royal and sky blue… I began praising God because I could see… Even though my sight was now crystal clear something greater was taking place. My seeing was of another capacity… I was seeing from perspective of being totally sin or guilt free. It was as if my body has been totally cleansed of all unrighteousness. I was seeing from a sin free body. I felt so pure. Not one once of transgression. It was so beautiful. There was such an exhilaration of release and joy I began praising and rejoicing. I knew that I was having an awakening and my body could do nothing but respond in praise. I could see.

My seeing was not limited to sight but an awakening of my spirit to the beauty of God. Life was so clear. There is a aspect of God that I was allowed to see that is so pure. By the way when my sight opened up the setting had changed I was in an open field in a park near downtown. The skyscraper made up my line of sight as the man still straddled me while squeezing the rag.

In conclusion… I saw for the first time… What I thought was a moment of death turns out to be a moment of life as I had never known before. There is a sight available where by the beauty of God is so splendorous our body will not be able to contain our praise. There is a pureness in Christ that is so majesty… I’m experiencing chill bumps just thinking about it… I don’t know if I was out of body but I do know I experienced a purity I like never before… There is a realm of glory outside of the realm we live in. The realm is so pure I’m not sure if we can live in it in our earthly existence. I didn’t feel dead I just felt alive for the first time. I was free of the accuser of this earth suit.

AS I PROCLAIMED WHEN THE GAS HIT MY EYES…

I CAN SEE I CAN SEE!!!!

Are you excited about the New Year... I sense a great release for the Body of Christ... especially FOR the remnant that has yielded to the processing of the Lord during the last 5+ years... It's time to take our rightful place... There is urgency in the air for the ministry gifting of God to come forth...

EXPECT INCREASE IN 2009.

The world is saying recession but I see the Harvest... Just like the Prophet and his servant... the servant saw the artillery of the enemy, the prophet saw the artillery of GOD... 2 Kg 6:15-16 And when the servant of the man of God was risen early, and gone forth, behold, an host compassed the city both with horses and chariots. And his servant said unto him, Alas, my master! WHAT shall we do? - And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them.

FOCUS ON THE PROPHETIC HARVEST!!! If need be make an emergency spiritual appointment with your heavenly optometry - ophthalmologists - God specializes in the vision information processing of the human sensory cognition. The Prophet took the servant before the heavenly optometry/ophthalmologists and prayed that his sight would be corrected. Yes he prayed that his servant eyes be opened to see in the realm of the spirit and not be limited to the realm of the flesh... natural world... It is imperative that we see from the realm of the spirit and not the flesh... Why you may ask? Our words are shaped by what we see or perceive... our world is shaped by what we say... If we continue to see as the world see then we will speak as the world speak... When we speak we cast seed into the atmosphere and the seed we cast will bring forth the harvest we will reap... What do you SEE!

I SEE A PROPHETIC HARVEST IN 2009... THAT WHICH GOD HAS SPOKEN INTO YOUR SPIRIT BEGAN TO SPEAK BACK UNTO GOD and the Kingdom

UPGRADE: It's Time To Go Higher

God is calling for an:

During the first quarter of 2008 God began speaking upgrade in my spirit. I had just completed a teaching series on “xTREME MAKEOVER” and during my meditation time he spoke Upgrade in my spirit. Immediately I began pondering the idea of upgrade. I though about the marketing strategy of my business... Sell the service and then up market my offering. I thought about how the strategy had always been successful. Even when clients were set on my basic offering my goal was to up sell my service. That’s what upgrade is all about … taking it higher… going to the next level. As we prepare to enter into the 2009 year, God reminded me of another series I taught on during the second quarter of the year – “It’s Time to Cross Over Your Jordan”. This series was foundation for the thrust of many things that happened in 2008. My wife caught it and there was no looking back for her; she crossed over her Jordan and took hold of the promises of God. Now God has spoken again and this time He spoke to my spirit and said the Body of Christ must consecrate itself because there is going to be an Upgrade in the lives of my people as I take them over their Jordan.

Ask yourself, what is an upgrade? Let me answer by referencing a computer analogy. Everyone that knows me knows I love computers; I love building, researching and challenging myself to stretch the sensory cognition of my mind. There are times when a perfectly good running computer becomes outdated for today’s pace. The computer may work fine; doing what it was doing from day one but the requirement of the time make its necessary to … you got it – UPGRADE! Generally speaking the components or the whole unit has to be replaced with a new and better version. The theory of its function remain the same – input, process, output but there’s a need to replace the hardware or software with a new or better version, in order to bring the system up to date and to improve its characteristics and performance. The software sometimes remains the same but is updated with new patches or versions. The patches or version usually aim to improve the functionality or solve problems. Sometimes the new hardware functions better with a new software altogether. The point is… Business, organization, school and households will upgrade their computers…WHY… In order to Install new processes, Impart new ideas, Impact their vision and Improve their offering... they must UPGRADE.

install – impart – impact - improve

God wants to install some new perspectives of how you see, hear, pray and praise, God wants to impart some new depths of his love and power so we can impact the world and advance the Kingdom of Light and dispel the kingdom of darkness.

Just as the children of Israel were upgraded from the land of “Not Enough” (Egypt) to “Just Enough” (wilderness living) to “More than Enough” Canaan land (promise land living); God wants to upgrade the lives of his people from barely enough to more than enough. However, this upgrade in living will require an upgrade in our relationship with the Father. The upgrade will require a consecrated life style… God is speaking but only those at his heart we catch the revelation of what he is saying… This upgrade will require spending quality time with the Father.

Now concerning an upgrade, you must understand that an upgrade denotes that there’s an original to upgrade from.... You cannot experience an upgrade in God if you only have a form of godliness you are working from. Many will get excited about the upgrade but fell to realize the original is a prerequisite to the upgrade. If you lack the original (true salvation) then the upgrade will not work… perhaps you want a greater anointing. The upgrade in anointing requires an upgrade in your prayer life, fellowship, fasting… communing in the Word. Many newer upgraded software will not work on old machines… incompatible… Sound like the new wine parable?

Whenever we move into a new spiritual dimension of our calling and our ministry, we must take the time to upgrade our relationship with God. Our calling comes at different levels at different times; it is a progressive journey of discovery. When God takes us into the next phase of our calling, our relationship with Him must also change.

Moses, Esther, Gideon, David and many others experienced an upgrade…

Notice all of these upgrade required an upgrade in their relationship with God.

God is ready to release but there’s an “If Then” principle attached… the principle is if you do your part then you can lay hold of my part.

MAKE UP IN YOUR MINE DURING THESE LAST FEW WEEKS TO UPGRADE YOUR WALK OF FAITH.

This new season will require an upgrade in our relationship with the Father, with your commitment of service in your church, your job, your home and your witness. The upgrade will require a consecrated life style… God is speaking but only those at his heart we catch the revelation of what he is saying… ARE YOU READY FOR AN UPGRADE!!!

Reflecting back...

I found an old writing from March of 2005 and it prompted the BLOG you are about to read… I find it interesting to go back in time and to see where my train of thought was at a certain season... The date of the writing caught my attention more so than the actual writing… The date was significant because it was around the beginning stage of what turned out to be one of the most pivotal points in my life.

In February of 2005 God called me to sit for 2.25 years under Dr. Michael Mitchell of Restoration Ministries (Augusta, GA)... I had been for the past 13 years preaching, teaching, training, doing workshops and seminars, building Sunday schools, overseeing church teaching ministries, serving as an assistance pastor, started a homeless ministry, developed TV ministries and served in various capacities of church life... God called me out (Abraham call… I literally had to make a family oriented detachment – this was very difficult because of my love for church I was leaving and my family members)… Looking back I realize this grew me up in the Spirit… For the first time I had to make a stance for what God was saying to me… I graduated from a feeling (soulish) level of attachment to an obedient level of relationship with God. Hey I’m going to help you out… many times God will call you to do something and you will not have all of the answers… Listen do not say God is saying for you to do this or that simply because you feel obligated to give a reason when you are moving at the auction of God. Remember God instruction to Abraham was for him to move unto a place I will show you… Abraham moved out on God’s command not knowing where he was going… Church mentality says package it up so man won’t think you are crazy or missing it… Kingdom mindset say obey God and speak what He says to speak… He may not release you to speak what he is about to do… better yet you may not have a clue… Had I known God was about to sit me down from doing what I loved to do I probably would not have obeyed him. Because I didn’t know what God was about to do I gave obligatory answers to questions of why I was leaving. WOW! The wow is because I was not disobedient to the voice of God. I remember how I felt so obligated to give some type of religious excuse and reasoning for the unction that I was hearing from GOD... When God says lean not to your own understanding; trust Him he knows what he is talking about... REMEMBER... YOU MAY HAVE THE VISION BUT GOD HAS THE PLAN YOU WILL NEED TO EXECUTE THE VISION... trust me you will need God's plan in order for the vision to come to pass...

My time of sitting at Restoration Ministries International was all GOD... Some disagreed but I had to obey God... Funny thing... when we were released back into ministry the elevation from the season of sitting has been a blessing even to those that did not agree at the time... TRULY GOD'S WAYS IS NOT OUR WAYS... This time of soaking was life changing... I did very little ministry assignment... God wanted to pour into my soul and spirit. I am so glad I was able to hear the voice of God and sit under this mighty man of God. My eyes were open to great revelation of the word of God. My flesh was put to death… purpose and the Kingdom perspective of ministry was awakened in me… Never had I anticipated week after week of sitting and being taught the Word of God. I was not concerned about teaching or ministering… I was so connected with the teaching... I knew God was speaking directly to my soul… God used Dr. Mitchell to lay a foundation that is prevalent in my teaching and Kingdom perspective on today. You may not know of him at the moment but soon the world will come to know of this mighty man of God. I STILL MARVEL AT THE WISDOM THAT WOULD POUR FROM THE MAN OF GOD WEEK AFTER WEEK. I'm talking about Rhema every week!!! My relationship with the Godhead was taken to another dimension and I'm grateful unto the Lord...

To my ministry friends: In the midst of all your preaching and teaching if God call you to a season of sitting do not be afraid and feel you are going to miss out ... When God call you to something it's always to add to your life...

To my Pastor friends... I know you preach, teach, study and meditate... however; you need someone speaking into your life... Ask God to connect you with an earthly person so they can speak into your life... GOD HAS SO SET UP THIS GOSPEL JOURNEY THAT YOU WILL NEED OTHERS... YOU CAN NOT FULFILL YOUR DESTINY ALONE...

I’m not sure what God is saying to you on today but I want to encourage you to trust Him.

This was a FYI to someone who may be feeling a call to another level but is not sure what God is saying... If your next level requires sitting ... DO IT... You will be thankful after God reveals the reason for the season. Many ministers miss their divine appointment because they fail to hear and yield to the voice of God. This is another teaching but I will share this quick word that I feel in my spirit...

"Know the Purpose of your Relationships"
1. Some relationships are for a reason...
2. Some relationships are for a season...
3. Some relationships are for a lifetime...

In all thy getting ... get an understanding of the purpose of your relationships... I will not develop this at the moment... check back at a later time... I will revisit this... or you can email me and I will share more...

Now back to the reason I started this blog... A writing from March of 05

Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Truly God is calling his disciples to a higher calling. As followers of Christ we are required to present our bodies, i.e. the temple, which house the Holy Spirit as a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto him. This is our reasonable service. The word reasonable means agreeable to reason, following reason, reasonable, logical - use the mind to think things through... Therefore what God is requiring of the body of Christ is to slow down and look at our life, examine why we were created, why are we here, what is our purpose, and to consider the grand scheme of our short period here on earth and our eternal existence with the Lord; After doing so we will see that we have a divine assignment and we must discover the course that God has set out for our lives. We must stop living just to exist and start living to conquer and advance God's kingdom here on earth. This will only happen as we present our bodies as a living sacrifice. A sacrifice primary purpose is to be offered up on an altar for the good of another or as a communication of thankfulness or sorrow. God want us to live everyday as a living vessel that has been laid on the altar for God's use.

Once we present our bodies as a living sacrifice we can walk in the demonstrated power of God. Yes there is a higher calling and it began with realizing our lives are not our own, we have been purchased by the blood of Jesus. Before he called us to be a sacrifice he demonstrated it by being a sacrifice for the world. How can we move to this point of laying our lives on the altar?

Rom. 12:2
Be not conformed to this world but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind... Let this mind be in you that was also in Christ Jesus - What was the mind of Christ - NOT MY WILL BUT THOU WILL BE DONE!!!!!! That's it my brother/sister it's not about us but it's about finding out what God wants, why am I here, where am I in relationship to what he wants, make the adjustment and LIVE FOR THE LORD!

HIGHER CALLING = CHANGE
We must be willing to change our perspective and see what God wants...

Change your Thinking you will change your Belief

Change your Belief you will change your Expectation

Change your Expectation you will change your Attitude

Change your Attitude you will change your Behavior

Change your Behavior you will change your Performance

Change your Performance you will change your Life

Are you REALLY ready for a Breakthrough?

In 1st Corintians 19:9, the Apostle Paul speaks of a breakthrough...

"For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries." 1 Cor. 16:9

Here Paul spoke of a great and effectual door being opened unto him; however, along with the opened door ("an open door" is used of the opportunity of doing something) or as some would call it his breakthrough - there were many adversaries.

The door was opened, and it was not an ordinary door. Paul described it as a great and effectual door. The moment the enemies saw that the door was opened, they showed up to close it, thereby hindering Paul from going through his breakthrough.

Perhaps your breakthrough has not come because you are not ready for the level of warfare that comes with the breakthrough... In the midst of you praying for your breakthrough, don't forget to pray for spiritual equipping anf discernment in order to deal with the many adversaries that may surfasce with the breakthrough.

IT IS ENOUGH!

Have you ever visited that place whereby you declared It Is Enough. That place where you decided you were going to throw in the towel. Instead of things getting better they got worse. Every time you come up for a fresh breath of air you are knocked back down. In frustration you proclaim, "man when is it ever going to end." You pray, you fast, you serve God, you speak his word but all of your efforts are met by one discouragement after another.

My friend, you are not alone! Thousands of your brothers and sisters are experiencing the same fate in life. But there is a word from the Lord. You may be going through the valley of the shadow of death; but you can rejoice because you are only going through, you are not there to stay. Yes it may seem that all the doors are closed and there is no way to escape and go forward. You may not see the solution to your problem, but I encourage you to keep trusting in the Lord and to lean not to your own understanding but in all of your ways , I mean all of them - good and bad - acknowledge him and he will direct thy path. The fact may be that there's is trouble on every side, but the truth of God's word is that he will never leave you nor forsake you. Put your faith in the truth of God's word, not in the facts of life. the facts of life are conditional, they are driven back internal and external manipulators. But the truth of God's word is always the same, therefore if you continue in God's word then you will know the truth and the truth will set you free. (John 8:32...) Let me say a word about know the truth.... This is not a mere cognizance of perceiving the truth but this reference to knowing is becoming intimate with the truth. The truth becomes a part of your life. This knowing denotes relationship. Become intimate with the Word of God apply it directly to that area of struggle and watch God perform his Word.

Remember God is with you as you walk through the valley of the shadow of death. So you have no need to get fear about your problems and your family. He is the Lord, He loves you and guards you. He will never forget about you... you are not alone in this walk. As he was with David as he experience first hand situation of feeling the pressures of life and life long disappointment. Beloved God will comfort you whenever you get weary and faint. You are not the first to declare IT IS ENOUGH!

In the life of Elijah, there was a time that he got so desperate because he saw his life coming to an end that he went a day's journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a juniper tree: and he requested for himself that he might die; he declared, It is enough; Lord take away my life.

Again, you are not the first to want to say I quit. Feeling that you can't go on does not mean you are not anointed and that you lack faith... my brother, my sister you have just hit a place that many others have hit and they have rebounded just as you will. Continue to read the account of Elijah's hitting the wall and you will see that God fulfilled his promise of being with you. God sent a angel that began to minister unto the man of God. God revived him (restoration)... God provided him with some food... that's your provision... God eased his mind so he could rest... that's your peace... (1kings 19:4-5). Yes Elijah was comforted, strengthened and encouraged by an angel that God sent to meet his needs. God knows what you need to continue in your journey. Get up, shake yourself, boldly declare your authority in the Lord. God is determined that you will finish your course. You will win. 2 Cor. 2:14.... you will reach the place of destiny that God has ordained for your life.

The Lord who comforts Elijah that day is comforting you through His word. God will remove thee out of the strait into a broad place, where there is no straitness; and that which should be set on thy table should be full of fatness.(Job 36:16).

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.(Jer 29:11). And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.(Rom 8:28). Partner with God and advance his Kingdom.

It's Time to UnPack

Time to Unpack...

Many people in our society are carrying weights and baggage that arrest their development and stunt their growth. Now is the time to be released of those weights so we can run the race that is set before us. We only have an allotted space of time here on earth to sow seeds of history, heritage and hope. Carrying unnecessary weights/baggage will weigh us down and hinder us from maximizing our life... We must confront and overcome the issues that continue to resurface and hinder our progress…

Here are a few baggage that weigh us down in our spirit. Remember, we were never meant to carry them (Matt. 11:28-30)... So today its time to start unpacking…
1. anger,
2. disappointment,
3. weakness,
4. distractions,
5. hurt,
6. busy-ness,
7. rebellion,
8. fear
9. abandonment
10. envy and so on...

Hebrews 12:1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset [us], and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

Four things needed for you to run your Race
• God laid out the course for the Race… John 3:16 - Jer. 29:11 – Purpose
• Jesus gets you in the Race… Blood - Col 1:14 - Eligibility- you aren't eligible to run a race until you enter it…
God says he has already paid the entrance fee for us through the payment of his Son Jesus Christ…
• The Holy Spirit empowers you for the Race… Act. 1:8 - Empowerment
• You have to make a chose to Enter the race… Rom. 10:13 - Willingness

So now the issue is not one of eligibility, but of willingness.
It's Time to unpack so you can run your race and your race only!

Anything is Possible to Him that Believe...

Regardless of whom you voted for... Your son and daughter awoke this morning knowing that anything is possible if you only dare to believe.
Forty years since the “I Have a Dream” speech of Martin Luther King, Jr., America and the world arose this morning to witness the fulfillment of a prophet's prophecy that the nations failed to comprehend back in 1968.

Therefore, America was set on a 40 year journey to eradicate the reproach of their heart... For those of you that are not familiar with the Bible, forty is the number of testing, probation... time of processing and refining. The children of Israel were delivered out of the hand of slavery and bondage from Egypt, they had to endure forty years of transforming the mind so that they would be positioned to possess the Promise Land.

Today, we have awakened to the fulfillment of a modern day prophecy in which MLK, Jr. prophesied of seeing a day in which a man would be judged by the content of his character and not the color of his skin. The birthing of the prophecy did not come without pain, trials and tribulations... Yet through it all, our sons and daughters can declare that there's absolutely nothing that is impossible to him that believe.

The entire world played a role and through the commitment and resolve of many we lived to see the dawn of a new day. The year 2008 began with the declaration from thousands of pulpits that this was the year of New Beginnings... (The number eight in the bible represents a new beginning...) As always...Truth prevails...

Now the real work began... after Israel crossed over into the promise land, they re-covenanted with God... Began to eat fresh food... the pain of the past was removed and they prepared to apprehend their inheritance. There are many battles ahead but our sons and daughters know of a certainty that the power of faith is a reality to all – if you only dare to believe.
Heb. 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Lattice Barrier

A lattice barrier is a frustrating thing to overcome. It’s a barrier or stronghold that does not blind you to the vision but it blocks and hinders your pursuit of the vision. You see it but you feel penned it. My mother had a dog name Scosha. At night or during the day she would put up a lattice fence to block him from roaming the house. He would get very angry because he could see where he wanted to go but this lattice barrier halted his journey. He would chew, pull and sometimes attempt to climb over the fence but to no avail. Scosha would get very agitated because he had vision but he could not lay hold of what he saw. He had motion without progress…

Perhaps you feel this way today… you have vision but your pursue of what you see is blocked by a lattice barrier. This barrier/stronghold has become a menace in your life. James 1:5 says when man lacks wisdom let him ask of God. Maybe its time to change your prayer from God show me what you will have me to do to Lord give me wisdom to tear down or break through this lattice barrier which block my apprehension of the vision. Plans, ideas, vision, thoughts in the heart of a man are as deep waters (in abundant), but a man of understanding will draw it out. Talk to me, isn’t it frustrating to know something is obtainable but you can’t grasp it or lay hold of it.

Vision is not the problem; you need God’s wisdom on how to apprehend what you see. Jeremiah 33:3 God wants to reveal the hidden things... there is a way of escape.

Ps. 119:105 The Word is the navigational tool that will lead you to apprehending what you see.
